Her first acting role came in 201 when she was requested to appear in the Australian Soap show Home and Away where she was a minor character in two episodes of the series. The casting agent wanted to cast her in one of the main parts. While she tried to play the part, she was not chosen. Instead, she was cast in the series as Cassie Turner. The character is young troubled girl who lives within foster homes. The show was well-received by the public and reviewers for her performance.
