Sara Ramirez

Sara Ramirez was born in Mexico and is an American-Mexican actress. Also, she sings. As a child, Sara was racially taunted by a lot of Americans. When she went to a school competition and received great praise for her performance, in ninth grade, the girl began to gain confidence. Not only did she gain confidence through the audition and gained experience, but also changed her the direction of her career. She graduated at the age of 22 with a degree from the Julliard School in New York. At the age of 23, she started her journey in Broadway in the Paul Simon musical The Capeman. Then, when she was 23 she made her film debut in You've Got Mail. In the Broadway version of the original show Spamalot, she played the Lady of The Lake which won the Tony Award as well as the praise of critics. In 2007 she was cast on the ABC show Grey's Anatomy and became more famous. In addition to having a cult following as a singer, she also released her own solo album and a longer piece. She has also been an advocate for LGBT issues.
