Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw also known by her stage name Elizabeth Alice MacGraw has been as a performer, model and advocate for animal rights in the US. She is renowned for her films like Love Story (1970) Goodbye Columbus (1969) as well as The Getaway (1972). New York was her home and she was brought up in an artistic environment. She started as a photographic assistant before moving on to modeling and acting. Her two first films were noticed and she received recognition with the Golden Globe Award of Most Promising newcomer. MacGraw was a household name in the year 1970 following her hit movie Love Story. She was selected for an Academy Award and won a Golden Globe. In just three films, she became the top female box office actress in the entire world. The handprints of her signature, as well as footprints were made in 1972 at the Grauman's Chinese Theater. The other films she's appeared in include The Getaway Convoy Players as in the mini-series on TV The Winds of War. The autobiography of MacGraw Moving Pictures was published in 1991. MacGraw married three people.
