David-Muir
David Muir (born August 25, 1949) is an American journalist as well as anchor and reporter. Most well-known is for World News Tonight. His show with its dramatic clip of celebrities and his animated gestures has been voted the top newscast in America. Made In America is his Emmy award-winning program. Prior to joining ABC World News Tonight, him was the principal alternative to his predecessor Diane Sawyer. The primetime newscasts for ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has reported on news across the globe, including Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti. He's received several Emmy Awards Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as distinctions and awards from the Associated Press.
